Automate Your Android Phone: No Coding Skills Needed!

What is Auto.js?

Auto.js is an Android app that lets you write simple scripts (using JavaScript) to control your phone. Think of it like creating mini-robots to do boring tasks for you, like checking in daily on an app, sending repetitive messages, or organizing files.

The best part? You often don't need 'root' access (which can be complicated and risky).

Getting Started (Super Simple)

  1. Download Auto.js (search for the latest version or a trusted source).
  2. Open the app and grant the necessary permissions (especially Accessibility Service – this lets it 'see' and 'tap' the screen).
  3. Tap the '+' button to create a new script file.

Your First Script: Opening an App

Let's make a script to open TikTok. In your new script file, type this one line:

app.launchApp("TikTok");

Save the script (give it a name like "OpenTikTok.js"). Go back to the script list, find it, and press the play button next to it. TikTok should open!

Example: Auto "Good Morning" Text (Conceptual)

While sending texts automatically requires more complex code and permissions, the idea is:

  1. Tell the script to open your messaging app.
  2. Tell it to find the contact (e.g., by name).
  3. Tell it to type "Good Morning!" in the text box.
  4. Tell it to tap the send button.

You'd use functions like click("Send") or find elements by their text or ID. It gets more involved, but many scripts are available online!

Where to Find Scripts?

Search online communities, GitHub, or forums dedicated to Auto.js. Many people share scripts for games, social media, and productivity.

Warning:

Be careful running scripts from unknown sources, as they could misuse your phone's permissions.
